The collection had a Victorian, dark romance and Gothic style to it. Also it reminded me of Edward Scissorhands and Penny Dreadful. The collection included; leather, floral jacquard prints, pleated dresses, silk, intricate lace, feathers, lace choker bras, leather boots with perspex heels, layered rosettes, frilled high necklines and antique fabrics. Sarah Burton described the collection as representing 'Nature, Fragility and Beauty'. Some of the inspiration for the collection was from the photography of the life cycle of the rose by David Sims. Another inspiration was from an exhibition of an Edwardian painter named Egon Schiele. The make-up was done by make-up expert Pat McGrath. The make-up was done very pale and deathly looking. Also the make-up looked quite doll like. This look was created with white eyelashes and rosy pink lips. Also the eye-shadow was very shiny and made the eyes looked like they were bruised. The hair was done by hairstylist Guido Palau. It was a very fluffy and messy hairstyle, just like candy floss.
