Aimee Coveney: Atelier Versace AW15 Haute Couture

The collection had a real bohemian and festival theme to it. Also the collection gave off a mystical forest feel to it. The runway had 25,00 lavender, lilac and yellow orchids encased inside transparent perspex glass. The collection was made up of; flower garlands, ragged cut chiffon fabrics, pastel colours, embroidery, floral prints, lace, feathers, embellishments, flared sleeves, devoré velvet, patent platform heels, corsets, mesh, cut outs and floor-length gowns. The hair was styled by Guido Palau, he created a long and wavy look and then topped it off with floral head garlands to add that hippy vibe to it. Continuing on, the make-up was done by Pat McGrath. She kept the make-up quite soft and youthful. This look was created by using pale, shimmery shades such as golds and greens on the eyes. Also peachy shades on the lips and cheeks were used to create this look. Here are some of my favourite looks from the collection.
